The Year of a Million Dreams...

Though I didn't see my dreams of having my condo, car and school loans paid off, I think I can speak for everyone when I say Disneyland was a great time. The weather was in the 80s the whole time and the park was decorated for Halloween, with much of it themed around The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was cool to see the park so different. I was the lone man with Hallie, her sister Corrie, their mom, grandma and aunt. Below are some pics and comments for them:

Right outside The Haunted Mansion.

Water breaks are important, especially out of a fountain when you're tired of paying $2.75 for a bottled soda or water.

This was amazing! A mohawk that blends into a mullet. I couldn't believe my eyes! I had to pretend to take a picture of Hallie to get this without the kid noticing, which was kind of tricky since we were in line and why would I really want a picture standing in line? I think his mom may have noticed that the camera wasn't totally fixed on Hallie, but I couldn't pass this up.

Hallie on the tea cups in Fantasyland. She's adorable.

Ah yes, the giant turkey leg! In February when we went to Disneyland I saw people all over walking around with these barbarian turkey legs. This time I got one. Wow. I was loving it till I bit through some skin and was showered with greasy juices. The rest of it was much less enjoyable after that.

Just the two of us.

Pam, Corrie and Hallie outside the gates of the castle, enjoying some Dole Pineapple Whip.

Fun! Happy to see you found a turkey leg to nibble on in Disneyland. :)

Oh, you guys are so cute.
Jer, I never knew you were such a man until I saw you with a giant bird leg in your mouth.
And the pineapple dole whips have to be on the top of my list for things to have before dying.....

So fun! I'm pretty jealous of you two! Did you get all of the characters signatures?! hehehe Maybe the mullet guy was supposed to be some character- maybe Gaston!
and by the way Hallie, I've tagged you :) Sorry!

I can finally talk Brady into Disneyland! He loves the Nightmare Before Chritmas, rollercoasters not so much. I found both that guys hair and the turkey leg disturbing and I don't think I will ever be the same.

Leslie- I'm surprised it took you so long to realize my manliness...and yes, the Dole whips are pretty dang impressive!

Amanda-What, Brady doesn't like rollercoasters? Is he not man enough to enjoy a good ride? And don't try to deny that the turkey leg made you hungry. Come on, you know it did!

I am jealous. we have gone to disneyland every year for the past 4 during halloweentime. i love the nightmare before christmas overlay more than the original haunted mansion. we obviously aren't going this year for halloween and it is killing me! my mom is in cali {visting my sister who was supposed to have her baby on monday but then got denied a c-section because her hospital was evacuated}...anyways i called my mom and she kept hanging up on me because they were at disneyland and she didn't want me to hear the music and be bummed out!it's ok though because we are going in march. James loves the turkey legs, i think they taste like smoked ham.sorry this is so long but i am passionate about disneyland!
