WILCO, part I

Tonight I have the pleasure of reviewing the Wilco show for SLUG Magazine and I couldn't be more stoked.

I've been around people for years who have been fans of Wilco, but sadly until the last year or so, I have not partaken of Jeff Tweedy and company's amazing amount of talent. Once getting my taste buds a dose of their unique brand of alt-country rock, I can't seem to get enough.

With my hopes high, tonight will be amazing and I'll be talking about it for years...I'll keep you posted.

Jeremy- you get ready! It should be uh-mazing. (However, I really don't want to get your expectations too high. I think Jason W. didn't love their last show in SLC as much as we did.)

Hope to see you there!

Yeah, but Jason is hyper-critical of things sometimes too.

I think I'll LOVE it!

We'll look for you!

This reminds me of the time somebody didn't tell you about Tiger Army going to Red Fest. I didn't know Wilco came, so, uh, thanks for telling me or something.

Sorry Blake. I wasn't aware that I was your personal concert informant, I'll be sure to send you a weekly concert update from now on:)
Cut me some slack, we do live over 90 miles apart and talk only through blogs and in person on occassion. Situation might be different if we saw each other everyday like we used to...

Besides, it sold out a long, long time ago.

Easy there, tiger. 'Twas a joke, don't be so defensive. Life goes on and I am too tired after the last week (too much thesis work) to go to any concerts. I was just gettin' your goat. I hope we camp this Friday...:)
