Hallie began saying our family prayers and Cambria rips a huge fart. Here's how it played out:
Leaning over Cambria quietly whispers, "I farted." I crack an eye and try not to smile or laugh. As my eye slowly squints open, I see her put her tongue and lips together to mimic the sound of her fart, which she then begins to do. I'm now defenseless and I smile. She sees my smile and it's as if she feeds off it, because it is followed by a smile from her. With her smile growing by the second, she starts to pat her bottom while she quietly-almost inaudibly-continues to reaffirm the fact that she farted and is now, in fact, not only verbally telling me she did it and what it sounds like, but also where it came from.
Cambria, you kill me kiddo. And I love every second of it.

That story made my day.
A few months ago Austin farted loudly, and then looked around to see where the sound had come from. Kids are funny.
