It's no secret that I have a bit of a Hollywood crush on Zooey Deschanel (and her sister Emily-from BONES as well), how can a guy not? She's pretty, she's a splendid actress and she's recently joined forces with indie/folk stalwart M. Ward to show off her amazing vocal talents.
Their collaboration is called She & Him and is simply fantastic. Yesterday while on their website, I came across this morbidly beautiful video for one of their songs and I think you should check it out, in fact I strongly urge you to check it out-actually I might go as far to demand that you view it!

She's got a great voice. The blood in that video is so weird. I like it.
My brother LOVES this girl. He showed me this video a couple months ago. He liked the morbid twist to the video...I would have been ok without it. I have a feeling you guys would get along real well. Have you seen Elf? I thought she was great in that :) I bought the soundtrack to the movie just so I could hear her sing. When's the baby get here? Any names yet? Give me the update!

Yes, I've seen Elf. I saw it three times in the theatre and we own it now (bought it at 12 a.m. the day it was released). And that's where my crush on Zooey started and my crush on her awesome voice! You should check out She & Him if you like her voice-you would LOVE it and it's an amazing album.
